Mills Hardware Presents Cory Marks Sat, May 24 @ 8:00 PM @ Mills Hardware

Cory Marks Brings His Sorry For Nothing Tour to Mills Hardware — with guest Drew Taylor!

Cory Marks, a North Bay, Ontario native, is redefining the boundaries of country and rock with his unapologetically bold sound. Influenced by his upbringing among country legends like Merle Haggard and the high-energy rock of bands like Rush and Ozzy Osbourne, as well as more recent standouts Bryan Adams, Brad Paisley and Eric Church, Marks has forged a style that is distinctly his own. His latest album, Sorry for Nothing, produced by Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osbourne, Shania Twain), Kile Odell, and Andrew Baylis, showcases this unique blend. The title track, “Sorry For Nothing,” alongside the chart-climbing single “(Make My) Country Rock,” highlights his musical evolution and ability to bridge audiences from honky-tonks to rock arenas. “(Make My) Country Rock” epitomizes Marks' fusion of hard-hitting country and guitar-driven rock, energizing listeners with its anthemic chorus. Reflecting on themes of perseverance, family, and the unpredictable highs and lows of life, Marks brings a raw, authentic voice to both country and rock scenes, paving his own lane and uniting fans of both genres for an unforgettable ride. With performances at over 30 major music festivals and tours alongside acts like ZZ Top and Five Finger Death Punch, to Toby Keith and Brantley Gilbert, Marks knows how to electrify a crowd. His breakthrough single, “Outlaws & Outsiders,” featuring Ivan Moody, Mick Mars, and Travis Tritt, hit the Top 10 on U.S. rock radio, earning Gold status in America, and went platinum in Canada, solidifying his place in the genre-blending movement. With over 300 million global streams to date, Marks is captivating fans across the country and rock spectrum. Unafraid to stand out and stay true to himself, Cory Marks is poised to make an even bigger impact, inviting listeners to join him on a journey that’s as heartfelt as it is electrifying. Over the last two years, his breakthrough country-rock fusion has paved the way for the success of Morgen Wallen, Zach Bryan, Hardy, Bailey Zimmerman and Noah Kahan, among others. “I’ve never been about division,” he says. “I’ve always wanted to be part of something, but I pave my own lane, do what I want to do, try to bring people together. “This is a song written during the pandemic where I think we all realized we shouldn’t take these good times, family and friends for granted and this song is about bringing everybody together and feeling good again because during those times we were all ready for a different kind of year, so cheers! Here’s to you and here’s to me.”
